Supporting Youth Golf

To provide high-quality Junior Golf Tournaments and high quality golf instruction to players of all skill levels in a fun and supportive environment. We believe that golf is a game that can be enjoyed by everyone, and we strive to create a welcoming community where our students, adult and youth, can learn, grow, and achieve their goals. In youth activities we will strive to build self-esteem, self worth, self confidence and develop life long positive characteristics all through the game of golf.

SYGolf Rules:

USGA rules apply to all tournaments.

4 Divisions:

Par 3 Division (from 100 yard marker on each hole) This is designed for new players.

Once a player in this division shoots 45 or better from the 100 yard markers he/she will have the option to move up to the 9-Hole division. Upon the second time that player shoots 45 or better he/she will be automatically placed in the 9-Hole division.

9 Hole Division

Once a player shoots 50 in the 9-hole division he/she will have the option to move up to the 18-Hole division. The second time shooting 50 or better he/she will be placed in the 18 Hole division.

18 Hole Division

If a player in the 18 Hole division shoots 123 or above he/she will be placed back in the 9-hole division.

Alumni or Open Division

25 years old or under and not in High School.

Rules:

Caddies are welcome. Parents may walk along side of players and help with guidance along the way.

Improper language and/or displays of anger toward others or the Golf Course are grounds for the player to be disqualified and taken off the Golf Course.

A second offence will be grounds for the player to be suspended from further participation in future SY Golf events.

Junior Golf Tournaments

The tournaments are open to all junior golfers, with different divisions based on skill level. You will have a chance to win prizes as well.

If you have any questions or want to register, please call or text (360) 661-5168 The entry fee for 18-hole players is $50.00 per event and $40.00 for 9-hole players.

From a Golf standpoint Tom has won many Club Championships, won local and regional championships. Set course records and represented the PNGA team in the Hudson Cup matches.
